He learned after a few months of pregnancy that his son was going to be born with Down's Syndrome. He began to look for information, with the doubt of what his future would be like, but with the doubt, above all, of what his son's future would be, and he ended up writing to the Italian organization Coordown.
The members of the organization or the parents of children with Down syndrome could respond. But no, it was the same children and young people with this syndrome who recorded a video telling him what probably every father and mother would want to hear: "your son can be happy".
In total fifteen participants who responded to a mother who needed an answer, a small light of hope, something that showed her that everything would be fine. And the message is, most likely, what I most needed to hear.
The identity of the future mother was anonymous and the video was broadcast on the 21st on the occasion of the World Down Syndrome Day. The original video has already been seen by more than 4 million people and I am sure that they will have been moved by the love and tenderness with which they have done and expressed it.
