'Carry the Future Spain': a group of volunteers organize to send baby carrier backpacks to refugees

A few months ago we explained a moving and very exciting story, that of a woman (the one you see in the photo, on the right) who had the idea of helping the refugees of Syria by sending baby carrier backpacks so that the parents did not have to walk With the children in arms.

His work is still standing, more and more people are joining the cause, and today we want to highlight the work of "Carry the Future Spain", who was born a few weeks ago to get backpacks from all over the country and get them there too, where they can do so much good.

They started at the end of February with the Facebook page Baby Carrier Bags for Refugees and since then they have been expanding the collection points for all those people who have a backpack that they no longer use at home and who want to collaborate with the cause.

Not just backpacks

In addition to the backpacks and the best wishes and messages of support that many families send along with them, they give the idea of taking advantage of the pockets of the baby carrier to put socks, mittens, gloves, hats ... things of a child that can also serve the families that receive them, when it comes to offering clothing refills for children. To see what I mean I quote what they need:

New or used backpacks are needed, of the soft ones, but that is backpack, type baby bjorn, Ergo, Boba and Mei Tais, if you have any questions, you can send us a message.
We can not accept scarves, for reasons of speed at the time they explain how they work, or shoulder bags, since they need both hands to carry other children or belongings.
How small: You can put in the pockets of backpacks, socks, mittens, hats or small stuffed animals for babies. You can also leave a message to the family that will bring your backpack back to life!

And if you also want to be part of the group?

Any help is welcome, obviously, so if someone wants to help, they can apply to the Carry the Future Spain organization group.

The backpacks will go to Greece, where the volunteers personally receive and deliver them to the parents, while teaching them how to adjust them and how to use them, in what is one more proof that ordinary citizens have much more shame and humanity than their rulers.
