The arrival of a little brother is something that many children fill with joy. Meeting the new member of the family is one of the most important and it is right there that this relationship of brothers for a lifetime begins.
In most families, older siblings meet their new siblings when they go to visit the mother at the hospital or when they are discharged and go home for the first time. This is certainly not the case with Jacee, a 12-year-old girl who attended the birth of her younger brother.
This is undoubtedly something very unusual, because usually during the birth only the father or one of the grandmothers is present. However, the family decided that Jacee could be during the birth of his brother, because for all of them the birth is something so natural that it should not be hidden from those who wish to be part of it, in this case Jacee.
And although she already had another brother younger than 19 months, asked his parents to be more involved in the delivery of the new baby. As the mother knew that this would be her last child, she did not want to deny her eldest daughter the opportunity to be present at the time he arrived in the world.
The original idea was that Jacee was present during the birth only by observing, but as we can see in the emotional and incredible photographs published on the page of Nikki Smith, singer and family friend, she received her brother with her own hands.
The idea of Jacee attending the delivery to receive her brother was from the doctor, who motivated her to help him at the time the baby was born. She even helped cut the umbilical cord once his brother was born.
The stunning images have already been shared more than 180,000 times and most people we are moved by the expression of overflowing happiness and pure joy on Jacee's face.
Certainly some comments consider that it was not the best decision because they could create traumas in the girl to the degree that she wishes not to have children, but according to her mother, now Jacee is even more interested in childbirth and could even think of becoming a doctor in the future.
