Time flies: these emotional photos of father and son on the first day of school show us

A child's first day of school is one of the most important in the parents' life. For many it is not only the beginning of their academic education, but also the first moment in which our children begin to form their own path away from home.

And suddenly, in the blink of an eye, when we least realize, our children are already adults. They show it to us the photos of a father and his son, in which we see them on the first day of preschool and on the first day of classes at the university.

In a beautiful gesture to honor and thank his father for having been with him all his life, Charles Brockman III has published on his Twitter account two photographs that have undoubtedly managed to capture the beautiful relationship he has with his dad.

These are two images in which we see both back and in which his father, Charles Brockman II accompanies him in two of the first days of very important classes: the preschool and the university. In the first we can see them walking towards the school, while in the second is accompanying his son to settle in his new dormitory at the university.

What has made its publication shared more than 70,000 times, is the fact that it shows us that Time really flies and when we least expect it, the day comes when our children leave home.

In an interview for People, Charles said he was surprised that the photographs had such an impact, but he looks at it as a reminder of something very important: "Don't take anything for granted. Appreciate your parents while they are still with you."
