Sometimes they are the ones who motivate children to create a channel. Some of them have tables in fashion casting and moving to an Instagram or YouTube channel is another step. Others have a special gift and their parents decide to immortalize it through networks, such as instrument handling or singing. And others, however, influenced by the Internet, want to be stars of the network and cry out to have their own window in it.

Any commercial collaboration is always managed by their parents and billing is usually through influencers agencies or one of the parents as a freelancer.

Many of them have a blog and simply reading it, and knowing the age of the little ones, it is easy to know that at their young age it is impossible to have that ease of expression and that it is the parents or an agency that is behind each entry.

How much do they usually charge?

Influence marketing does not have closed prices that can be taken as a basis. Here everyone charges what they consider appropriate. Sometimes it can be quite fair and yet at other times it can be totally excessive.

It is a sector where many brands feel cheated and there is a lot of fraud. Influencers who buy followers and grow their profiles, brands that are blinded by the impressive figures of their profiles hire campaigns with them and actions that do not work and are a disaster. Why? Because the data does not accompany and the return on investment is not positive.

As for the price, there are some that They can charge € 50 for each photo posted and others reach € 1,000. When it comes to fashion themes, they always demand that the garment be sent to them and the price includes appearing in the image with it.

Some work with packs and they can offer the publication of an image and a storie on the social network or even a contest. The combinations are varied as well as the prices. It is normal to pay for the influence of the influencer, although it is quite common that very good profiles have fairly affordable prices and others with an average of standard followers have unattainable prices. As we say, it is not a regulated sector.

It is also true that there are some of them who do not charge if they like the product very much or do not want to simply market their profile and do not accept advertising.

Minors in social networks, what to consider?

In Spain, the legal age to open an account on social networks is 14 years, except those specifically for children. So how can it be that children under that age are in networks?

The answer is simple. Their parents open the profiles with all the risks that this entails:

  • Do we really want them to start having a digital identity so soon? We must be aware that this content will remain, unless we delete it, forever on the web.

  • Although we manage the profiles and our son is not in front of them, it is his image that will receive criticism or flattery.

  • Being influencer and growing in numbers will end up supposing a fan phenomenon, can you withstand that pressure?

  • Maintaining a profile of those characteristics requires a lot of work and dedication that we will take away from the game or other activities that you should do as a child. We are willing?

  • Commercial sponsorships require deadlines and are very demanding, must be responsible and involved in the project.
