Are fighting programs suitable for our children?

Should our children watch programs like those where beastmen make apology for extreme violence and brute force? In my humble opinion no, no and no.

And many more people must agree because two associations of parents and spectators they have asked the Ministry of Industry to fight space ”Pressing Match”(Issued by Cuatro) is qualified for over 18 years and withdraw from children's schedule (Saturdays and Sundays at 15.20).

The Association of Communication Users (AUC) and the National Catholic Confederation of Parents and Students (CONCAPA) consider this program Breaches of television legislation on child protection, because they can harm children both physically and psychically, and demand that the Secretary of State for Telecommunications open an information file.

Associations justify this complaint based on the "imitative effect"that have wrestling spaces among minors, which promote similar struggles and in many cases recorded with mobiles and hung on the net.

Act really prohibits the emission between six in the morning and ten at night of "programs likely to harm the physical, mental or moral development of minors".

Well, as currently the television landscape in many cases threatens children and adults themselves we have 3 possibilities:

  1. Go to the park every day, although snow, which will go very well to prevent sedentary lifestyle and obesity of all
  2. Play at home with our children with the TV turned off
  3. See in moderation other children's programs suitable as those that are usually presented in this blog

Please, come back Heidi!
