Sadly our society knows much more about animals than about human babies. And what is worse, generation after generation we are reproducing not only this ignorance but false and dangerous beliefs about parenting.
I have seen this documentary from the Eduardo Punset Networks program about the needs of babies, your brain and the consequences of the first 2 years of life. It has deeply impacted me.
Although almost all the information was known by other authors and articles, I thank Mr. Punset wholeheartedly for this work in which he clearly and forcefully exposes the true meaning of raising a baby, something deeply devalued lately.
I do not believe that this program is important for current or potential parents but thatI consider it ESSENTIAL for all people and hopefully we knew all this from school.
I prefer not to comment on the documentary data now. I wait a couple of weeks for readers to see it and then I will dissect it and we will extract the appropriate consequences.
Notice that the content of the documentary can hurt because he puts the finger on the sore in almost all the habits of the raising of the babies: not to take them in arms, early nursery, to let them cry,… and our model of society in this subject is quite in doubt.
