Pamper baby's skin: clothes

Nothing as delicate as the skin of a baby. The skin, which is also the largest organ of the human body and the most exposed. That is why we must take care of it from day one, on issues such as clothing. We can follow some practical tips that will keep that baby's skin healthy.

The tips serve both for outerwear and, especially, for the underwear that is in more direct contact with the skin.

With respect to laundry, should be done without softener and without bleach or strong detergents, preferably with natural and specific detergents for sensitive skin. The remains of detergent should be removed through extra rinse or vigorous centrifugation.

You can opt for natural fabrics in clothes: organic clothing is a matter of health and respect for nature. The fabric of natural fibers, such as natural cotton, is breathable, washable, maintains the baby's body temperature and does not use chemicals in its elaboration.

On the contrary, we must try avoid synthetic fibers or wool, which are rougher and can cause itching on the delicate skin of the child.

We can also see that the automatic skewers or clips are not nickel, since it is a material that can cause allergies.

About the little shoesThey must be made of leather or fabric so that they breathe and the feet are aired. The socks must also be made of cotton, not nylon or lycra.

You should pamper all the clothes that are in contact with the baby's skin, also that of the crib or bed. Sheets and blankets should be washed and chosen with the same criteria as other clothes.

It is also essential to choose the cover and sheets of the carrycot or cuckoo that is used for the first weeks of the baby's life, since he will spend a lot of time sleeping on them.

Before brand new clothes of bed or any garment of the baby, it is convenient to eliminate the remains that can be brought from the factory, giving it a first wash and rinse.
