The new learning cups of the Dr. Brown brand

The brand Dr. Brown's has released a new version of its Beginner Cup.

They report that the new cups are equipped with a valve that is only activated by suction thus avoiding the risk of spills and drips and still, allowing the baby to drink easily since a strong suction is not necessary for it to flow.

They are also available in two versions: soft mouthpiece from 6 months with 180 ml capacity for babies who do not yet have teeth and hard mouthpiece for those who are already teething from 9 months and 270ml capacity.

I think it is detachable that the products are made without Bisphenol-A. They are also interchangeable.

The brand does not manufacture bottles with a capacity greater than 240 milliliters, so that children over one year of age take their food with learning cups or with a spoon. These cups offer the possibility of continuing to give the child liquid porridge since its valve allows the flow of thick liquids.

The learning or beginner's cups are an ideal element for the child to get used to drinking in a glass while maintaining a continuity, without abrupt cuts, between the bottle the next step.

My experience with these objects is very good, my child used them to drink breast milk, but we found that the milk came out too easily, with a continuous flow, and that caused spills and that he could not suck, so he missed precisely a valve that will control the food outlet and to make it only sprout with suction, not just by putting it upright.

That is why I think that these cups for beginners of Dr. Brown can be a good option to pass to the learning glasses while maintaining the safety and the need to suck to get the milk or liquid porridge, although it is good to introduce the spoon and the textures less fluid, at least in part of their food, as soon as the child is prepared for it.
