"Weightless": the most relaxing song in the world is more effective than a massage or an infusion, they say

The saying goes that "music tames the beasts" and a sample of this is that many parents, when their children are tired, bored or nervous find solutions putting music or singing a song.

Knowing this, the company Radox Spa, which sells products to do Spa, was put in the hands of researchers from the British neuromarketing company Mindlab International, to create the most relaxing song in the world.

The fruit of that challenge was "Weightless"from Marconi Union, a song whose relaxing effect, according to Mindlab members, is superior to that produced by a massage, an infusion or listening to songs by Adele, Coldplay and Enya, come on, we should let our babies and children sleep on a parakeet.

The song lasts a little more than eight minutes and has the peculiarity of starting with a rhythm of 60 bpm (beats per minute), which is more or less the pulse of an adult and, therefore, the sound cadence that babies more they know (of hearing mom's heart for nine months in the belly) and more or less is the cadence of movement that we carry when walking, being also known by them to go inside the belly.

Being a known rhythm, it relaxes us and helps us overcome stress. As the song is playing at 60 bpm they decrease to 50 bpm, becoming slower as the minutes pass.

The creators of the same warn that this melody should not be heard while driving, as it can cause drowsiness. I don't have babies to put music to calm them down and see if they fall asleep, so I leave it in your hands.

I have heard it and the truth is that the world of music does not contribute anything (of course it will not happen in this sense), relaxing it is, of course, because as there is no concrete music to follow, you just finish it listening and it seems like a background sound to you ... I don't know, you will say what your children think, but it seems to me that they exaggerate enough.
