June 14 is World Blood Donor Day and they celebrate it in the Red Cross by giving away science

Since Red Cross indicate that the day June 14 is World Blood Donor Day. To celebrate they have created a campaign called consciousness and science have much in common. So in the Red Cross they have reached an agreement with eight museums in Madrid whose exhibitions and programs are specific to science, to get a free access pass, up to three people, on June 14, 15 and 16, 2013.

To get the tickets you just have to bring the donor card or present the brochure that will be delivered to people who want to donate. We remember that to be a donor you have to be of age, weigh more than 50 kilograms and feel good. In addition you do not have to go on an empty stomach, you must allow a minimum of two months between donations and that men can donate up to four times in the same year and women three. In any case, every time you go to a donation point, a questionnaire is completed and a medical interview is carried out to declare the donor suitable or not.

I think this needles for many people throw them back a little. In my case, what I try to do is first not look and then clench my teeth so that the puncture feels less. And then take me something to be entertaining reading while taking your blood, which usually lasts less than five minutes.

Every time I have donated blood I have felt a lot of emotion when a few weeks later they tell you that your blood has been fit and that you have helped someone somewhere. And only with a little blood! If you still know this thanks little by little, it is possible to always get a live gift, in this case, these tickets are a good complement to visit any of the Science Museums as a family.

We remember that the Red Cross blood transfusion center is a non-profit entity whose purpose is the provision of blood and blood components to the hospitals of the Community of Madrid. We also indicate that until the 70s in Spain the paid donation was not officially prohibited. It is important to note that all donation activities are managed by standardized procedures according to a quality management system certified by AENOR according to ISO 9002.
