They give a mother the wrong girl and spend nine hours with her at home until they claim her

Just yesterday I talked about stolen babies and how important it is that the baby is always guarded by the mother or father, or by a family member, precisely because things are not always done in bad faith, but there are mistakes and accidents that They can change the life of the baby and his parents.

Three years ago we met the case of two families who lived more than a year with the wrong baby. Now we learn that, for nine hours, a woman went home, leaving the hospital, with another mother's baby. The real parents denounced his disappearance and for that reason everything could be solved.

Amber Disappearance and Alert

It happened at the General Hospital of Navojoa, in Sonora, Mexico, where the real parents of the child were very scared to see that their girl was not in her crib. Theft of the baby was reported and the so-called Ámber Alert was activated, whereby the news of the disappearance is run by all possible means (television, radio, SMS, internet, etc.) so that more people know better, because the first hours are vital.

The police began the investigation following three different paths. The first one was that of the girl's grandmother, who was one of the last people who saw her, the second one was the information offered by the mother of the child and the last one related to the administrative procedures of the hospital and the plant.

After nine hours of research the medical staff found that the girl had been delivered by mistake to a family that was not his.

Babies alone in the "cribs"

Apparently a family was leaving and when it came to taking their baby the hospital staff made the serious mistake of delivering the wrong girl. In the incident there are several factors that could have prevented the mother's fright. The first factor is the separation between mothers and their babies.

I don't know how things are in Mexico, but the "cribs" or "nursery", those rooms in which babies stay in their cribs, all together, separated from their parents, have disappeared in hospitals in Spain for years, promoting mother and father care for the baby 24 hours a day since birth. As they comment, the girl was in the crib while her mother was resting in the room.

I do not say that I do not have the right to do so, but if the girl was in the crib lying down, I imagine that quiet, she can also be in the same room as the mother, while still resting. And if she cries or gets nervous, the father can always take it for a while, if it's any use.

Another factor is that of the no identification, or not looking at her when delivering the girl. Babies wear identification bracelets and wear them for something. Just look at them to read her name and see if she really is the daughter of those lords who leave.

Then there is the lack of ability of those parents to recognize their baby. I can understand that they might give it to her, perhaps wrapped in a blanket and they would not even realize that she was not her daughter, but hey, then at home at some point you take it to feed her, to change her diaper and even to change her clothes. Didn't they realize in nine hours that that girl was not his?

Once located, the girl was given to her mother, without any health problem. Now both the hospital and the State Attorney General's Office are going to investigate the facts in order to clarify where the mistake was made, why and how to avoid it in future deliveries.

I, in case someone reads me, repeat it again: the best way for this not to happen is that mother and baby never separate, not at all, not even for testing. If necessary, the father must accompany the baby. It is a right of your son or daughter and it is a way that no one gives the baby change, or that it is by mistake.
