The latest success on the internet is the result of the "performance" of a baby in a trailer to promote a short film. The little girl looks drunk with those characteristic movements of those who manipulate objects or take their first steps with insecurity.
In the trailer, the one-year-old girl drinks cocktails, glasses of wine and beers (all non-alcoholic drinks) and moves around the set making some crashes until the fruit of her "drunkenness" falls to the ground.
The idea to promote the short film is not bad, with a mini-restaurant set (the size of the girl), seasoned with other clients of similar size, which in this case are puppets and "act" quite well. The girl even dares to take food from the plate of one of her tablemates ...
This is an idea of Johannes Nyholms, who has made his daughter Helmi look like drink in the video. The short film is set in Gran Canaria (Spain) and is titled "Las Palmas". We do not know what it is but the truth is that it has some success assured with the impact that this video is having on the internet. Some frames that we have seen also have babies and puppets as protagonists.
The filming won the short film prize at the Gothenburg International Film Festival, as well as the Audience Award, so it may even be interesting. Here the brief synopsis:
A middle-aged lady on a holiday in the sun tries to make new friends and have a good time. The role is played by a one-year-old girl, the rest of the cast are puppet-puppets.
But the image of the girl pretending to get drunk, drink beer or wine, I don't know ... I don't like it. It reminds me of some images that we have seen before in the blog and that it seems that they were not fiction like this time. In any case, we do believe their performance because children at this age move like dizzy ducks.
